Waiting for Giftums

I am so excited that I can hardly wait any longer. But greatness takes time, and Giftums takes even longer! Development of the idea has been a journey but it only took us two weeks of pre-production to develop the product category. And this new greetings product is awesome!
We are scheduled to go live on Facebook.com by October 15th but we will keep it on the down low until we have tested with a small BETA group. Please let us know if you'd like to participate!

It is October 6 and we are still aiming for an October 15th release of the Giftums app on Facebook. It has been like nails-on-a-blackboard here for the past two month, just trying to get our concept to market. Distribution depends on the integration with the fb platform, f8 as they call it and therefore development depends on the Facebook app developers we hired and frankly they all are caught up in the hype and hullabaloo. There is a new conference every few weeks and they are all abuzz about Facebook.
I must admit that I too am caught up in the "Got to have my Giftums on Facebook" because I can get my product systematically in front of all of the members of Facebook, all 43 million (68 million unique visitors for Facebook in August)members (80% of which login every day) of them.
And they are growing stronger at the rat eof over 150,000 new members a day!!

Here it is November 18th, and we are ready to roll. f8 is not perfect and there are weekly problems but there are opportunities all around; Google's OpenSocial, Bebo's Open Media and of course Facebook.
