It's been way too long!
By KAT CAVERLY
And what HAVE I been doing?
Well there's the long and the short of it. I'll start with the short story. I have been lost in the vortex that is Facebook. Launching our newest greeting product Giftums on Facebook in December was nothing short of a harrowing experience. We have problems with programmers and the so called F8 evangelist culture. Beside getting some really bad advice (and paying for it), despite programming ills that proved I was woefully our of my league, we created an amazing product AND succeeded in launching the Greetums app by Christmas.
We have a few subscribers and some really loyal customers who inspire me daily, but I still have my work cut out. First of all we need the world to be able to come into our card shop and just browse; no "require join", no Facebook, just browse. And next we have to be able to send cards to any email address, not just to your Facebook friends.
Turns out your Facebook friends ain't necessarily your real friends and that the gold rush of application developers have delayed what might eventually be a great marketplace. I still believe that greeting cards belong in any space that is dedicated to communication and staying in touch. After all greeting cards were the first social networking tool in the real world.

Snow! Snow! Snow!
By KAT CAVERLY

I don't think I could be any happier. The simple feeling that I finally have the strength
to shovel snow again...and just in time! This is our third snow and our first big snow
of the season and I was thrilled to be out playing in it.

The thing that I was most proud to report is that I did all of that by myself and in only
10 minutes.

Pure satisfaction. Tis the season!

Giftums Launches on Facebook
So you have found yourself on Facebook yet again and are browsing through the many applications available. You just stumbled upon a rather new innovative application, Giftums. What is a Giftum you are wondering? Well, a giftum is a mini e-card, an animated little gift that can sing, or talk or just give kisses. Then you notice that Giftums cost money. What?! Why would I want to pay for this when there are plenty of applications for free? Well, Giftums are a quality product, and many people have put a lot of work into putting together this application. Here, think of it this way; you are browsing through a store and notice an item that would be just perfect for one of your good friends. This item costs a few dollars but it’s worth it because your friend is worth it and worth spending that money on. Giftums are the same thing, a quality product for a friend that is worth it. Giftums aren’t something you send to everyone you know, just the few people you know are worth it.
What is so great about Giftums anyway?
Giftums are new, they are different, funny, silly, animated! Giftums are not just static little pictures that you look at once and forget about. Giftums can be played over and over again and make you laugh everytime. Giftums can say hello without a message. If you want to tell someone you miss them, Giftums can do it. If you want to say you are sorry, Giftums can apologize. Giftums are worth your time because when you give a Giftum you are giving heart.

Waiting for Giftums

By the Greetums Lady
I am so excited that I can hardly wait any longer. But greatness takes time, and Giftums takes even longer! Development of the idea has been a journey but it only took us two weeks of pre-production to develop the product category. And this new greetings product is awesome!
We are scheduled to go live on Facebook.com by October 15th but we will keep it on the down low until we have tested with a small BETA group. Please let us know if you'd like to participate!

NoEvil: Renovational
Click on image for virtual tour
There have been big goings on over here at NoEvil Productions as we are
building our dream studio! Come take the virtual tour of the space after we took
most of the walls down and stripped the space of all old wiring!
There is nothing like an old warehouse space to bring back memories of coming
of age as an artist in New York City. It makes Tom and I have the energy of
twenty-somethings, with the experience of professionals after 30+ years in
the business.
We love New York!
We have another few months of construction but wee are moving into the studio
this week and we ain't missing a heart beat since we are also launching a new
greetings product this week. Change is good!
Expect great things from us and keep posted on the developments.
