Orange Alert: A Color Commentary

When the going gets strange, the people get a new test of the emergency broadcasting system! During the height of the cold war, when I was a little girl, we used to have emergency drills, in the case of a nuclear threat. As I crouched under my little tubular metal and thin wood desk, even I knew this was no protection.

I'm not sure what I am supposed to do; New York City has been at a heightened state of alert since September 11th, 2001. I guess when all else fails, make fun with it.
