Do you smell something funny?

farting dog harmonics

It takes guts, or should I say gibbleguts, to be funny each and every day, but Dan Gibson does just that with his wildly successful cartoon feature, Gibbleguts.com.

In addition to Gibbletoons, Dan regales us with interactive Flash and funny screensavers

which will keep you laughing for hours. My favorites are his dogs but his Farting Cats and Dancing Granny are must sees!

Oh and before you go, check out the Recycled Madonna Bras collection. Dan Gibson must never sleep, otherwise how would he be able to come up with all of this twisted stuff!

Everything I have ever needed
to know I've learned from my cat.

pictures of funny cats

Cats. They are God's special creatures; comedians, lovers, killers. There is not a creature on this green Earth that knows how to be more comfortable than a cat!

I have had as many as ten but now I only have four. My best friend of all times was a cat; and I am not exaggerating. His name was Buster and he was an extraordinary individual.

I found Buster on the streets of New York City, as I have found all of my cats for the last twenty years. Or should I say he found me! He became one of my favorite subjects and he is a star of many greeting cards.

Pictured today is my dear boy BB, which stands for Bodega Boy. I saw BB be born and he was promised to the owner of a corner bodega. A bodega is a small grocery store on every corner on the west side of Manhattan, and any other Spanish neighborhood in New York. BB didn't like the bodega so we were lucky enough to get him back.

Then there's Rosie, Bill, and Isabella but they are another story and many more photographs!

Friendship has its Day!

fd003.jpg

And friendship has its song too! Welcome to Cantina Gusano; a friendly place just south of the e-border! Meet Señor Gusano who greets you with a song and a laugh!

Friendship Day, August 1st...

The first Sunday in August was proclaimed National Friendship Day by the United States Congress in 1935. And where there is a holiday, there is a greeting card! And where there is a friend, there is a toast.

No Evil Productions, a division of Kat Caverly Enterprises, Inc. has produced the first in a series of animations that are set in a sleepy liitle bar named Cantina Gusano. Inspired by her love for Quervo gold tequila when she was a bartender, producer/director Kat Caverly decided to create an Agave worm character named Señor Gusano, which is Spanish for worm. Señor Gusano lives in a tequila bottle and fancies himself to be a Latino Dean Martin. All are welcome and all get a song!

Get more Friendship Day e-greetings and this year remember all of your friends!

Never forget another birthday again.

Birthday Alarm - birthdays, holidays and great premium ecards

A reminder service that really works; what a concept! BirthdayAlarm.com accomplished this but wasn't content to stop with one great idea! In late 2003 they decided that they wanted to create the best e-greeting card site on the Internet too.

They searched high and lo for the best artists and when they launched on May 2, 2004 they introduced some of the most innovative animated greetings and postcards on the Web. The members of their immensely popular free reminder service started finding the new premium ecards from day one and have continued to sign up at an ever increasing rate!

And these guys have just gotten started. This site is worth watching...and sending!

Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby?

babies.jpg

Did you know that every baby is born with the ability to make every facial expression? Of course they don't really start to take on any meaning to them for months but they are the source of great amusement to Kat Caverly, photographer and funny pictures lady.

Funnypictureslady.com is a site dedicated to...

... the street photography of Kat Caverly, a professional photographer in New York City. Her work has been taking pictures of ordinary people in everyday situations with available light, often on the streets of Manhattan.

Her babies are popular on a new line of paper greeting cards published by Pictura but her favorite work is finding the many characters that New York City has to offer. Her cats, her husband, and her friends are as often her subjects as are the perfect strangers who seem happy to play with her camera.

Her motto is "Take a picture of it!"

Christmas in July

ck013.gif

It's beginning to look a lot like we could use a little Christmas right this very moment! Personally, my ornament collection hangs above my head in my office year round. It inspires me; all that good will and Peace on Earth.

If red and green are your favorite colors too, check out Christmas Kookies.

Happy Happy

Birthdays. It is SOMEONE'S birthday everyday! And I love everything birthdays; the songs especially. I find it fascinating that one song, "Happy birthday to you", is by far the most well-known song in the world. Created in 1893 by a school teacher and her sister, this song has been translated into many, many languages!

But there must be more?! Of course there is "Happy birthday to you" by the Beatles, which is fabulous but my all time favorite NEW birthday song is Happy Happy by the Arrogant-Worms.

Birthday cards, a birthday cake with a candle, and dancing to great Happy Birthday songs are required practice for birthday celebrations!

Greetings!

Born Kathleen Klutcharch, Kat Caverly did not know that she was going to be Kat Caverly. She didn’t know that she was going to be an artist. She thought she was going to be a doctor when she got her degree in behavioral psychology from the University of Illinois in 1976.

But after a 5 year commercial apprenticeship in Chicago and Atlanta, covering tabletop, advertising and fashion photography, Kat immigrated to New York City where she ended up on the streets with her camera. As The Photocartoonist, Kat Caverly’s photographs offer a fascinating and hilarious look at people and human nature.

Kat started working in the greeting card industry in 1988. She has worked with Avanti Press, Recycled Paper Greetings and Pictura USA. In 1994, Kat Caverly created her alter ego, Shirley Kenosha, and started performing on comedy stages and in cards. As the New York Times duly noted, Kat Caverly is “The Face that launched a 1000 greeting cards.”

Kat launched her first e-greetings website, Photocartoonist.com, in June 2001 and started creating animation in 2002. Her team now consists of writers, animators, graphic designers, composers, directors, playwrights, illustrators, voice talent and bon vivants!

You can see all of Kat Caverly’s work on her network of websites:
